We treat an interior as an exercise in proportion, material and use.

Alderton Rowe is a small interior architecture practice in London. We work on private houses and apartments, here and across the UK, usually from an early survey through to handover.

We are more interested in how a home is used than in how it photographs. That tends to mean fewer materials, more attention to the joinery, and a plan that has been argued over before anything is specified.

We work with a consistent group of joiners, stonemasons and contractors, and we prefer to be appointed early enough to be useful.
