Plumbing repairs, leaks and pipework
Repairs to leaking pipes, taps, toilets and waste fittings, plus replacement pipework and valves.
Most repairs are to a joint, a fitting or a worn tap, and are carried out on a booked visit. Where a repair to an older fitting is unlikely to last, we say so and quote for replacing the section instead.
If water is running and you can reach the stopcock, turning it off before the visit limits the damage. Tell us it is off when you send the enquiry.
What this covers
- Burst and leaking pipes, including behind plaster
- Tap washers, cartridges and full tap replacement
- Toilet cisterns, fill valves and flush mechanisms
- Sink, bath and shower waste, traps and slow drainage
- Stopcocks, isolation valves and outside taps
- Low pressure and airlocks on hot and cold
Common questions
Should I turn the water off before you arrive?
If water is running and you can reach the stopcock, yes. Let us know it is off when you send the enquiry.
Can you repair a leak behind a wall?
Yes. It means opening the wall to reach the pipe, and plastering and decoration afterwards are quoted separately.
Do you fit taps supplied by the customer?
Yes. Send us the model before buying and we will check it fits the existing supplies.
